SINOPSIS: Basado en un suceso real ocurrido en 1976, narra cómo un aficionado de los Philadelphia Eagles, Vince Papale, de 30 años de edad y de profesión barman y profesor a tiempo parcial, y que únicamente había jugado al fútbol americano un año en el instituto, se apuntó a una prueba abierta del equipo para encontrar nuevos talentos. Vince consiguió entrar, y terminó formando parte del equipo como receptor... haciendo así realidad el sueño de toda su vida.
